Located in Laurel, which some say creates a unique microclimate influenced by the nearby Peconic Bay, Clovis features a 10-acre vineyard with a rustic tasting room and covered patio. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming name of this vineyard in Jameson. Named after both the founder Jason Damianos and the ancient Greek mythological hero, Jason’s Vineyard is one of the most established and respected wineries on Long Island. Founded in 1996, this 20-acre vineyard offers a beautiful setting for wine tastings, live music and private events. Jason’s Vineyard pioneered the dense spacing of vines that other North Fork wineries now replicate, which reduces grape yields but intensifies flavors.

Duck Walk Vineyards is one of the most well-known wineries on Long Island, in part because it’s one of the few wineries in The Hamptons. However, in 2007 Duck Walk opened a second location in Southold, bringing its acclaimed wines to the North Fork.
